Inbound Marketing Techniques Rock!
I love inbound marketing techniques. I am still learning what mix is best for me and my clients. Are you using them in your business? Do you know what they are? Read on and watch the slides below which are full of amazing content.
According to Wikipedia, “Inbound marketing refers to marketing activities that bring visitors in, rather than marketers having to go out to get prospects’ attention. Inbound marketing earns the attention of customers, makes the company easy to be found, and draws customers to the website by producing interesting content.”
A critical component is content marketing. Make some great content and give some of it away. Your content has to be brilliant. It can be videos, podcasts, ebooks, infographics, guides or a blog post. Any medium you can think of to use that can be offered digitally. Put your heart and soul into it. Show your expertise and passion for whatever it is that you do. Help people and invoke the law of reciprocity.
There are other great ways to do inbound marketing such as any and all social media channels, build a quality email list and monetize it, host webinars, make classy sales letter pitches, track conversions, write case studies, write research studies, get and use customer testimonials, learn or hire someone to do organic SEO on your website to improve your ability to acquire traffic, make great landing pages, and start improving your conversion rates.
The key is to never be sleazy or cheap in your tactics. Offer genuinely great stuff that you worked hard on and are proud to share.
In my never-ending quest to learn more about effective marketing tactics, I came across Neil Patel. He has a lot to say that has helped me learn how to get better at inbound marketing.
